Prince Albert’s historic Onse Rus has been welcoming guests for the past 40 years. Your hosts, Neil and Leonard would love to welcome you to the tranquil serenity of this beautiful restored mid 1800s Cape Dutch home. You will be perfectly located to enjoy all the village has to offer with the museum, galleries, tennis courts, the theatre and all restaurants within a 7 min walk. The beautifully appointed guest lounge, which leads onto a large shaded garden with swimming pool, provides a welcome escape from the Karoo heat on the warm summer’s days or the perfect place to cosy up with a book next to the wood burning fire.

Guest accommodation and facilities are separate, affording guests a level of privacy not normally associated with a guesthouse.

As a Bike Friendly Certified venue, Onse Rus provides secure bike storage (in-room) for overnight guests and a range of bike friendly amenities and services (see below).
