Knysna Hollow Country Estate is set on a secluded 3-hectare Country Estate just 5 minutes from the centre of Knysna, a quaint seaside town widely regarded as the jewel of the Garden Route.

Knysna Hollow re-opened in October 2018 as a brand-new contemporary country retreat offering stylish accommodation with warm personal service and authentic dining in the casual restaurant, Social Eatery. A standout amongst Knysna hotels, the 44 contemporary Garden Suites are situated in lush gardens and offer all modern amenities in a spacious and serene environment with private patios overlooking the garden and two sparkling swimming pools.

The modern Cape Country Manor House is the focal point of the Estate and houses all the public areas – restaurant, bar, reception, sun deck and internet library. The casual restaurant, Social Eatery, serves authentic, local food throughout the day and Social Bar is the ideal spot to enjoy an ice-cold Craft Beer on tap or a bespoke Gin & Tonic.

As a Bike Friendly Certified venue, Knysna Hollow provides secure bike storage for overnight guests and a range of bike friendly amenities and services (see below).

Guests can rent a bicycle from Knysna Hollow reception for the day and enjoy the wonders in Knysna. Explore the town by bike or head out to ride one of the many exciting trails or forestry roads in the area e.g.  MTO Cycle Tracks, SanParks Harkerville Cycle Route or Garden Route Trail Park. 

Knysna also lies at the start/finish of both the Karoo Crossing and the Cross Cape long distance cycle routes, which makes Knysna Hollow the perfect base for adventures further afield.
