Greyton EcoLodge
Greyton EcoLodge offers affordable accommodation in the heart of one of South Africa’s most beautiful villages. The EcoLodge is situated on the edge of a nature reserve in the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains. We at Greyton EcoLodge extend a warm welcome to backpackers, mountain bikers, schools, church and other groups, families, friends, and individual guests wishing to enjoy all that our village and area has to offer.
The EcoLodge is run by Greyton Transition Town, a registered charity which brings the community together to find local solutions to the global challenges of peak oil and climate change. All profits from the EcoLodge are gifted to the charity for its environmental education work. Courses are offered at the EcoLodge in eco-friendly activities such as natural building, renewable energy, permaculture, mushroom growing, upcycling and environmental awareness.
