Gasteria Grange

Nestled in the beautiful valley of St Helena in Calitzdorp, surrounded by farms, mountains, and veld, Gasteria Grange offers comfortable, bike friendly self-catering accommodation. Guests can choose between the Garden Cottage or Grand Gasteria. There is also a camping site with sufficient space for 2 caravans and about 3 medium size tents. The amenities include braai facilities, ablution, external power points for e-bikes or lights.

As a Bike Friendly Certified venue, Gasteria Grange provides a secure bike storage for overnight guests and a bike parking area in the campsite, as well as a range of bike friendly amenities and services (see below) including bike washing facilities and a repair stand. Vintage bicycles are also available for guests to rent to explore the town.

The surrounding area of Calitzdorp is well known for its great mountain bike trails and gravel routes e.g. Calitzdorp Circle Route, Rooiberg Pass and the magnificent Seweweekspoort. It is also the start/end point of the long distance Karoo Crossing cycle route.
