Bike Rentals and Guided Tours

There is no better way to explore the valley than on a bike. Breathe in the fragrances and take pleasure in the incredible scenery as you cycle around, sampling local cuisine and wine. Renting a bicycle eliminates the hassle of bike racks and the schlep of finding safe storage for your bike.

There are a quite a few options to choose from when renting a bicycle from Franschhoek Cycles. Our most popular choice is the hybrid bicycle – ideal for riding in and about the Franschhoek village, as well as visiting the surrounding Franschhoek wine farms. For the more adventurous, we have mountain bikes equipped with front suspension. We cater for families with young children; for those with babies up to 2 years old there are baby carriers for rent. From 3 years upwards, we have kiddies bikes available, varying in wheel size of between 14″ and 24″. Our adult bikes available for rent come in sizes small (16″) to extra large (22″). All rentals include a helmet.

We have special rates for groups of 10 or more. We also cater for corporate & incentive groups. It is one of the most excellent approaches to team building events.
