Die Skoolhuisie
Die Skoolhuisie offers you a chance to forget about the hustle of daily life. Amongst the calm mountains, Pecan nut trees and tranquil flow of the Keurbooms River you will find rest and relaxation.
A beautifully restored self-catering cottage built by Thomas Bain as a school and chapel in 1864. This is an ideal destination for a group of friends or a large family. There is a bathroom with all amenities. Hot water is supplied via a boiler known as a donkey. This requires the lighting of a fire under the boiler, either in the evening or in the morning. There is a gas cooker and a fridge. Sleeps: 4
There are two designated areas for camping to pitch a tent and enjoy the outdoors. The campgrounds have an ablution area with a beautiful outside shower.
Onsite you will find the Deck Restaurant. This beautiful farm-style restaurant offers light meals, pizza and views of the river.
