Blue Crane Coffee Company

BCCC is an artisinal Coffee Roastery in the heart of Stellenbosch. We batch roast all our beans in our 200 year old historical building.

Blue Crane Coffee Company (BCCC) is proud to announce the opening of its brand new coffee roastery and experimental coffee laboratory.

The new roastery and lab forms part of the original De Oude Pastorie building at 141-143 Dorp Street.

BCCC brings something modern and exciting to this historic Cape Dutch building dating back to the mid 18th century. The building was first used as parsonage for the Rev. Meent Borcherds. The property forms an essential part of the traditional architectural street scene of Dorp Street, and thus also of the historic core of Stellenbosch.

BCCC feels privileged and are immensely excited to be sharing such historic significance and its own deep rooted passion for the craft of roasting and making coffee with its customers.

Our Coffee

We believe that coffee has no need to be aggressive and harsh. Sourced exclusively from the high altitude fincas of El Salvador, our 100% Arabica City+ roast produces a smooth and rich mouth-feel with just the right levels of balanced acidity and subtle bitterness. There are hints of nuttiness with undertones of citrus fruits and a wonderfully lingering aftertaste. It is a versatile coffee that works perfectly whichever way you like to drink it.
