Cape Town’s urban cycling culture is on the rise as more people choose to ditch their cars and go by bike – fueling a revolution that is changing the way we live and move, and connect with fellow citizens.

Launched in 2012 Bicycle Cape Town is a community generated campaign to promote bicycle culture in Cape Town – inspiring more people to cycle in the urban environment and supporting the transformation of CPT into a truly bicycle-friendly city.
