Wolvekraal Guest Farm

Wolvekraal is a working Dorper sheep farm in the Karoo, situated just 10 minutes outside the town of Prince Albert and 40km from the N1 on the Prince Albertweg road.

At Wolvekraal Guest Farm, one can experience the boundless canvas of the Karoo skies, take long walks and toast the breathtaking sight of a glorious sunset. Guests can also hike anywhere on the 4000-hectare farm or take veld drives with beautiful panoramic views of the Karoo. It is the perfect base from where visitors can explore Prince Albert, The Swartberg Pass, Gamkaskloof, Meiringspoort and Oudtshoorn.

Accommodation consists of 4 cottages. Each cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and features a double bed, twin single beds, equipped kitchen and bathroom. Electricity and gas are provided for your comfort or paraffin lamps for simplicity. The cottages also have indoor fireplaces and Olienhout Cottage has a plunge pool outdoors.

Cycling at Wolvekraal

Wolvekraal Guest Farm bicycle trails consist of an easy short ride, and a longer more technical ride. O for Olives Restaurant can also be reached for olive tasting or something to eat and to drink, by another bicycle trail route. Starting from Wolvekraal Guest Farm via to O for Olives ending back at Wolvekraal Guest Farm. A map with the routes wil be provided at the Wolvekraal Guest Farm reception.

6.30AM to 5.30PM (winter)

Trail permits (R30) and parking is available at the Wolvekraal Guest Farm reception.
