Versus Socks
Versus Socks is the brainchild of two Stellenbosch (South Africa) students, both passionate mountain bikers, Jurgens Uys and Hanno Lategan.
During a bike ride in Jonkershoek the topic of cycling socks came up and with both partners always on the lookout for new business opportunities they realised that there is a gap in the market for affordable, comfortable, durable and just outright sexy socks.
From there designs were put down on the table, chocolate milkshakes were consumed, a reliable local manufacturer was pinpointed and Versus Cycling Socks came to life.
