CYCLING ROUTES

Greyton Genadendal MTB – SOCIAL SINGLE TRACK

Our trails are designed with Everyone in mind! Ride though the Rockhopper forest with your kids or ride the red loop to train for the Epic! And of course there’s a whole lot of options in between that take you through stunning scenery. Routes are marked really well and you can find maps and more trail information here. All our trails are rideable on a cross country bike.

Trails in Greyton and Genadendal have been built, cleared and marked by the awesome crew at GGMTB. For those training and wanting to ride distance, there are many district roads that are safe and scenic! Several farms allow riding on their tracks by prior arrangement and some major cycling events take place each year in the area, the Greyton MTB Classic, Dirtopia MTB Festival, The Greyton Tour and Genadendal Mission MTB and trail run.

Permits and route maps are obtainable at the Trailhead at the Hub+Spoke. Permit fees go straight back into the trails – there is no management fee. See our Permit section for details and ‘rules of the trails”. Take out annual membership to become a club member and support the trail building!
