Rus In De Rust is a beautiful heritage house built in the 1900’s that has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished offering spacious accommodation for up to 4 guests (5th guest by arrangement).

De Rust is a picturesque village at the foot of the Swartberge Mountain range and at the entrance the world famous Meiringspoort. Rus In De Rust not only offers safe accommodation that is walking distance to the main road with its restaurants and coffee shops but also offers the tranquility and country “feel” you would expect from a quaint country village.

As a Bike Friendly Certified venue, Rus In De Rust provides secure bike storage for overnight guests and a range of bike friendly amenities and services (see below). It is also located on the Karoo Crossing cycle tourism route
