Mountain biking trails
Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, situated on the Northern slopes of Paarl Mountain offers some of the most scenic views in the Western Cape. The farm launched dedicated single track routes in the vineyards and slopes on either side of the farm in February 2014, constructed by Hans Degenaar and local trail building team. Many local riders from Paarl, Wellington and Franschhoek already know what Paarl Mountain can offer.
Rhebokskloof offers the most picturesque route with sweeping views over Noord – Agter Paarl. Rhebokskloof and Wines2Whales director, Johan Kriegler, have teamed up and developed a fantastic route of approximately 15 kilometre on the farm, of which about 12 kilometre is an exhilarating single track. The route complements the existing trails in Welvanpas and Paarl Mountain. The eastern slope at the back of the farm has approximately 70 landscaped terraces within this single track- downhill, with many switchbacks which offer superb riding. Riders seeking longer distances can do a 20 kilometre loop into the adjacent Paarl Mountain reserve, resulting in a 35 kilometre track in total.
Hero Adventure – Rhebokskloof Trails have recently developed a selection of trails on the property and surrounds specifically designed for Mountain Biking , Trail Running , Hiking , Walking , Obstacle Course and many other adventures . We welcome daily visitors , events and corporate functions and assure you of a amazing day out exploring this spectacular area. Please register and pay day pass fee at the Rhebok Restaurant.
