Pieta Designs

My great grandmother’s name was Pieta, she was a true expert seamstress. I knew her until I was about 13. I remember my sister and I sitting under the big dining table where she used to work on her machine and she’ll let us press the foot “goed druk hom my kind!” When we were lucky she’ll make us pancakes but she was strict about it and don’t you dare order a thick one, they needed to be paper thin! And thus when I started out sewing I realised I’m not half bad at it and so Pieta Designs was born.

I make quality, durable bags for bikepacking and other outdoor adventures. It is a small business where I design, develop and make each bag. I carefully source all my fabric and each product is made to order. Each product is made with care and is unique. I also make custom bags for specific bike frames.
