There are several dams in the reserve as well as 270 different bird species (incl. a breeding pair of fish eagles).
Many different recreational users i.e. cyclists, horse riders, hikers and birders enjoy relaxing in the open space and clean air of the farm.
It’s a great family outing and offers safe and secure parking at the clubhouse, where toilet, shower and braai facilities are available.
Northern Farm is only open on weekends and public holidays, from 6.30am to 3pm from 1 May to 31 August, and 6am to 3pm from 1 September to 30 April.
