Lismore Cottages
The Lismore Cottages are the ideal base from which to explore parts of the Overberg, the Breede River Valley and the Klein Karoo as well as the mountain bike trails in and around Suurbraak and the Grootvadersbosch Conservancy.
The River Cottage situated on the edge of the river at the foot of the mountain with a view of the green fields of Lismore Farm. Lismore is a member of the Grootvadersbosch Conservancy. Formed in 1992 the conservancy consists of a group of farms on which neighbours have pooled their resources for the purpose of conserving wild life, together with the adoption of farming practices ensuring sustainable agriculture production.
This rustic cottage sleeps six people with two bathrooms and boast gas lamps and candle light. Guests only need to bring bedding or ask for when booking (pillows are provided). A bag of wood is provided on arrival.

Or just relax at the cottage and enjoy the breathtaking views from the comfort of your own patio. And if you’re lucky, you might see the very scarce and very shy bushpig.
