A Coffee Roastery in the heart of Hout Bay.
This tiny coffee shop and roastery, hidden in the heart of Hout Bay, is packed full of character and excellent coffee and food. Housed in an old building, on the edge of to a seasonal stream, the shop also sells a variety of fresh beans, ground beans or ready made coffee.
Owner Paul Myburgh is not only passionate about coffee, he is also a true adventurer – an anthropologist author and multiple award-winning documentary filmmaker, who has spent many years living with the San and the /Gwikwe Bushmen in the Kalahari Desert. His book, The Bushman Winter Has Come, “imagines a continuing journey towards a place where we may, once again, know who we are in the context of our life on this Earth”.
