Downhill Adventures runs fun and exciting off-road mountain biking trips as well as leisurely cycling tours through the most scenic parts of Cape Town.
Choose from a selection of tours for all fitness levels, with knowledgeable guides and vehicle support. Our biking trips have been carefully designed to offer guests of all experience levels the perfect way to experience these unique environments, in a fun-filled and exciting way.
Alternatively, we have as many bicycles as required to set up tailor-made private bike rides for experienced riders who are looking for more challenging single-track rides only known by locals.
If you have a large group and are looking for something to do, look no further, Downhill Adventures run large group biking tours, plus corporate team building and can arrange a custom ride for your group – ideal for incentive groups and schools.

Not only is Downhill Adventures a leader in the outdoor adventure industry in Cape Town, we’re also friends with some top-action Stunt Performers.
We’re able to draw on a network of outdoor adventure and stunt performers and practitioners that can deliver on almost any client brief. These are guys and girls who aren’t scared of anything but capable of stunts that’ll leave you spellbound.
We also provide location services, stunt co-ordination and equipment.

Downhill Adventures was established at a time when a new optimism and freedom prevailed in Cape Town at the birth of our democracy. Our founder, Axel Zander, had recently returned from an epic journey around the world and a life of snowboarding, exploration and adventure, he returned bursting with new ideas, innovations, and a passion for the outdoor and nature sports environment.

Our mission is simple – accessible, outdoor fun in nature assisting adventurers to undertake a wild physical experienece whilst aquiring a skill and sharing time with like-minded people and exploring Cape Town and beyond. We take adventurous folk away from a day-to-day treadmill into being alive!
