Domein Doornkraal

Doornkraal is a real, live working farm that we are fiercely proud of. We invite you to come and see our work, meet our family, and spend the night in one of our cottages at the foot of the majestic Swartberge. The goodness of the earth combined with wholesome food and great company is an irresistible, magic potion that charms guests to return year after year, often becoming friends for life.

Our Cottages are completely private and in the morning the knock at the door is your freshly made light breakfast delivered by a member of our lovely kitchen team. The breakfast comprises of freshly baked items from the farm’s main kitchen, seasonal fruit and yoghurt.

As a Bike Friendly Certified venue, Doornkraal provides secure bike storage for overnight guests and a range of bike friendly amenities and services (see below). It is also located on the Karoo Crossing cycle tourism route and there are plenty of farms tracks and gravel roads to ride.
