The Petrus-se-Brand mountain bike trail

The camp forms the start point for the 22.4km Petrus-se-Brand Cycle Route which runs from Diepwalle Forest Station to Harkerville (Garden of Eden on the N2 between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay). The route follows a mix of jeep tracks, single track and logging roads flowing through pristine indigenous forest, small sections of fynbos and plantations. Expect exhilarating downhills, streams to refill your water and stunning scenery. After the rains the trails can be very muddy. As Diepwalle Forest station is the highest point on the route it is easier to start the ride here (more downhills), the route markers are also more visible from this side.
