Cycle Teknix (Kenilworth)

Cycle Teknix was established by Hanber Leedo in 2006 – operating from his garage at home in Table-View, doing basic repairs, and carrying limited stock.

The garage was outgrown within two years, requiring larger premises. Hanber relocated to his current premises 85m² in Blaauwberg Road in 2008; and again in March 2010 he had no choice but to double up his floor space to 170m², allowing more space for workshop and a larger variety of bicycles. In addition to opening his second store in Kenilworth in 2012, to accommodate the contractual work Cycle Teknix does for a number of security companies, Cycle Teknix grew another 70m² in Table View in June of 2014, to bring store capacity to a total of 250m².

Cycle Teknix currently employs a total of 8 highly experienced mechanics in two stores. Staff members are trained in-store by experienced mechanics and sales personnel, and are capable of handling complex services in addition to providing expert advice. Cycle Teknix is still proud to be providing clients with quality personalised service and advice.

We provide Maintenance Clinics
Through our maintenace clinics we strive to educate our clients on basic repairs and general upkeep of their bikes. Clinics usually take place during the winter months and last for approx. 2 hours. Booking is essential.
