Cascades MTB park is the home of Mountain biking in KZN, offering superb riding conditions in the heart of the province. Being located next to a shopping centre also enhances its appeal through proximity to facilities and parking.

Cascades has been host to the 2009, 2011 , and 2012 World-cups. Cascades has a number of XCO, XCE and Down hill trails.

While the trails offer technical challenges for the discerning rider, there is also a myriad of forestry paths and easier tracks for the less experienced rider. Weekday mornings and afternoons, and weekends see Cascades light up with many hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers tackling the forest. The trails are free to ride and parking is available at the rear of Cascades Lifestyle Centre.

The KZN MTB Commission (a volunteer organisation) has taken charge of maintaining the Cascades area, building new trails, signage and trail maintenance.
