Cape Vélo is a cycle tour operator based in Stellenbosch, heart of the Cape Winelands in South Africa. We offer bespoke guided cycling tours for both road cyclists and mountain bikers and are also extremely excited about gravel riding, which we swear is the best thing to hit cycling globally!

Owner, British born Jamie Osman, is an ex-chef and cycling fanatic who ran an urban bike café, Péloton & Co, in Spitalfields Market, London, before immigrating to South Africa in 2016. As a road cyclist, it was impossible for him not to get completely caught up in mountain biking when arriving in the Cape Winelands!, The region boasts some of the finest purpose built mountain bike trails in the world, amidst jaw-droppingly beautiful surroundings!

Cape Vélo promises you a cycle tour filled with adrenaline, excitement, a few ‘tummy butterfly’ moments and a smile that is difficult to wipe off! It is impossible NOT to enjoy riding in the Western Cape, but we aim to make your day(s) that extra special by providing you with an experienced, knowledgable and qualified tour guide (on a bike) who promises to show you some of the most epic routes that you will never forget!

We can also rent you full suspension Mountain Bikes (Specialized Carbon Comp and Gravel Bikes (Specialized Diverge Carbon Comp), so please get in touch if you’d like to hire a bike and/or book a tour with us!
