Farming methods of days gone by have also been brought back to good usage, like the Lei-Vore (channel) method of manually flooding crops. CYCLING/MOUNTAIN BIKING

Guests are welcome to bring their bikes along and cycle around the farm. We offer 3/4/5 night Cycling / Mountain Biking Packages based at BloemhofKaroo. If you haven’t yet discovered Off-Road Cycling in the Karoo, then this would be a great introduction. There are sufficient challenges for experienced mountain bikers as well. This 15 000 hectare Private Game Reserve where more than 2000 head of antelope roam offers great opportunities for moderate and strenuous cycling coupled with luxury accommodation, Karoo hospitality of note, and an excellent kitchen.
