Allandale Guest Farm

Situated 9km outside Citrusdal on the Middelberg Pass at the top of the Middelberg Mountains, Allandale Farm offers very private and secluded Citrusdal Cottages as well as a 4×4 camping site. A working Citrus and Rooibos farm, Allandale has 2 mountain streams that originate from the breathtaking Sandstone Mountains which provide crystal clear mineral water to the farm. The cottages are very homely and great for families, groups or couples. All cottages and the camping site offer views over the farm’s orchards and mountains. The onsite activities include hiking, swimming, fishing in mountain streams, mountain biking, scenic 4×4 routes and canoeing (bring your own). Horse riding and the Citrusdal golf course are nearby. There is also a variety of lovely Coffee Shops and Steak Houses in Citrusdal itself.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Please bring your own mountain bike along and go for a ride on the farm roads and hiking trail on Allandale Farm which also forms part of the villages 50km mountain bike trail. Map with entry costs R50 per person.
