The Pie Run MTB Gravel Grinder, Greyton
Join us for the 2nd Annual Pie Run, MTB or Gravel Grind, sponsored by the Ou Meul and Bootlegger Coffee.

76kms takes you to the Famous Ou Meul pie shop in Riviersonderend, and back. Choose your ride – gravel bike or MTB, for this gravel experience through the Overberg. Race it like a snake or take your time photographing the scenery and soaking up the Spring in these wide-open spaces.

The Ou Meul offers some proper hospitality at the half-way mark, and so does the Hub & Spoke, Greyton’s newest bike Hub in the centre of town. The Hub is the start/finish and will provide chill vibes on the lawns with early morning coffee and ‘back from the ride’ complimentary beer from Old Potter’s Inn and Brewhouse, our local Brewery.

76km, with 800m elevation, MTB or Gravel Bike – same route, but choose your bike. Mostly open gravel road with some jeep track connections. A circle route from Greyton to Riviersonerend, and back.
30km with 400m elevation – A relaxed 30km gravel road circuit. Although you won’t get to the Ou Meul we’ll stock your half-way water point with proper Ou Meul sweet and savoury pastries. Tuck in!

Book accommodation early and enjoy the weekend in Greyton – This is the home of the Greyton Village Market, the Greyton Nature Reserve’s awesome hiking and trail running trails, and of course an awesome network of proper MTB trails – from beginner to intermediate to expert trails, and lots of it!

A CAUSE WORTH RIDING FOR!
50% of all the proceeds go towards the Greyton Genadendal Mountain Biking (GGMTB) Kids Club. Making sure that these children have the opportunity to ride weekly, with the right equipment and well maintained bicycles!

SUNDAY FUNDAY!
Join the club for an unofficial, untimed club ride showing off the best of our new trails. 30km with options to cut short or go longer. 9am at the Hub & Spoke.

Late entries will be accepted on race morning with a late entry fee of R50.
Race briefing will take place 15 minutes before the start of each batch.
