Willowbridge Shopping Centre located in Tyger Valley will be hosting its very first MTB Expo from 2 – 4 August 2019. The much-loved shopping destination has become a gathering place for avid sports enthusiasts and proudly hosts the Wietse Run, ILoveBoobies Run and Xtreme For Kids Cycle Tour. The greenbelt behind the centre provides a beautiful setting for cyclists. Willowbridge is in the heart of the Northern Suburbs MTB mecca which is also home to the country’s largest mountain bike club. With Majik Forest, Bloemendal and Meerendal located only 2 – 10 km from the centre, Willowbridge offers the perfect location for a post-ride coffee or beer. The 3-day dedicated cycling event will shine a spotlight on exhibitors from within the industry including the latest mountain bikes, accessories, nutrition, bike trails and more. We aim to create an event for all to enjoy from granny gears to professionals. Non-riders can enjoy live music, shopping, the urban Slow Market while MTB enthusiasts explore.
