The 240km Cederberg Circuit starts and ends in Citrusdal and takes you straight into the heart of the incredible Cederberg Wilderness Area. While most cyclists tackle the route over 3 – 4 days (advisable), due to time constraints we opted to hit it in 2 days (not advisable, unless you like to hurt, then this option is for you). Go far beyond the tar and deep into the countryside with this epic gravel bikepacking adventure. The route to Riebeek Kasteel, located +80km from Cape Town, is both challenging and rewarding – heat, dust and corrugations present some tough riding (especially in summer), but the scenic farmlands, welcoming little towns and ice cold beers at the end, make for a truly memorable ride.
