At the beginning of 2014, our urban cycling campaign Bicycle Cape Town was selected as a World Design Capital Cape Town 2014 Project!
In March, we joined the World Design Capital team for two Active Mobility exhibitions – the first was held at the Lifecycle Expo in March and the second at the Clock Tower precinct at the V & A Waterfront. Both exhibitions aimed to raise awareness around issues of mobility, sustainability and design, while highlighting selected WDC2014 Active Mobility Projects.
In October we were excited to be included in an exhibition of World Design Capital projects that formed part of the WDC design policy conference, held at the Cape Town Stadium.
