The Cycle Tour Trust has launched a gravel race, dubbed the Old Hermon Gravel Ride, which seeks to provide the whole family with a gravel grinding adventure in the Berg River Winelands. Starting and finishing at Welbedacht Wine Estate, outside Wellington, the event offers 60-, 40- and 20km distances.
