Use the Paarl Cycle Tour to gear up for the Cape Town Cycle Tour. Cyclists can choose from three different routes to match their training schedule for the big one.

The 102 km race is a seeding race for the 2020 Cape Town Cycle Tour.

The event which takes place on 03 February 2019 will again be based at De Poort in Southern Paarl. There will be a long route of 102km that goes to Wellington, Hermon and Riebeek Kasteel before returning to Paarl; the medium route of 70km follows the 102km route but cuts out the Hermon/Riebeek Kasteel section; the short route of 45km is essentially a ride around the base of Paarl Mountain.
Despite the seeding and league aspects, this event is essentially family friendly and will offer food and drink stalls, and other options still to be finalised which will hopefully include, craft beer and wine tables as well as a Kidzone to give parents a break.
